Where you have provided your consent, your name, date of birth and identity document details may be securely sent to the relevant Commonwealth or State authority that issued your document. This may include:
- Passport authorities
- Driver licence authorities
- The Department of Home Affairs
- Births, Deaths and Marriages registries
- Other authorised record holders
These authorities check whether the information you have provided matches the records they hold.
We do not receive a copy of your government records. The authority only returns a match result confirming whether your details match their records.
This verification process may be conducted through accredited identity verification providers, including APLYiD Pty Ltd (ABN 36 632 866 794) and its authorised sub-providers.

5. Biometric Information
As part of our identity verification process, we may collect biometric information, including a facial image or short video.
Biometric information may be used to:

- Your information being checked against records held by Commonwealth and State authorities through the Document Verification Service (DVS)
- Your information being shared with our authorised identity verification providers, including APLYiD
Your consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us using the details provided in Section 13.
If you choose not to provide consent, or do not provide the information required, we may be unable to verify your identity electronically. In these circumstances, we may need to verify your identity using another method or may be unable to provide our services.
7. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- Identity verification providers, including APLYiD and its authorised sub-providers
- Commonwealth and State authorities and official record holders through the Document Verification Service (DVS)
- Our employees and authorised representatives where necessary
- Professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants and auditors
- Trusted technology providers and service providers who assist us in operating our business
- Regulators, law enforcement agencies or other parties where required or authorised by law
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Overseas Disclosure

Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through appropriate contractual protections with our service providers.
